Cambodia Revisited

Today I have, along with playing just a little bit of online Scrabble, been reflecting on the time I spent in Cambodia in 2009/2010. The pieces I wrote about it (posted here under 'April' 'May' and 'August') are serving as the basis for a writing competition I am entering and reading through them brings back amazing memories.
Discovering another culture and way of life will always be rewarding and can make you see your own life a little differently.
Below are just some of my favourite photographs, some artfully re-worked, that I took while in Cambodia (mainly volunteering at an orphanage). The pieces I wrote (five of them) are of course worth reading for the full experience!
